Brovary Plastics Plant – an experienced and reliable Ukrainian producer of polymeric pipes
Nowadays nobody seems to doubt about the advantages of polymeric pipes over metallic analogs in civil engineering when constructing utility systems. As a result, the market of Ukraine became crowded with numerous (about 50) manufacturers of polymeric pipes. Various polymers are used: polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), non-plasticized polyvinylchloride (NPVC) etc.
Manufacture of NPVC pipes is much more difficult than production of other polymeric pipes. The technology requires highly qualified personnel and complex equipment. This is why the production of pressure NPVC pipes was brought to commercial level only by few large enterprises within the former Soviet Union territory. Belonging to these few, Brovary Plastics Plant remains the ONLY one in Ukraine.
Brovary Plastics Plant was launched back in 1966. Since 1967 it has been manufacturing PE pipes, and in 1978 the plant ran in the production of NPVC pipes and fittings.Today’s capacity allows manufacturing 5686 tones of polymeric pipes per year. The plant produces 5 types (74 size types) of polymeric pipes: pressure NPVC pipes for drinking water supply, sewer systems, electric wiring protection, and PE pipes for transportation of water and gas.Pressure NPVC pipe for drinking water supply is the main product of our company.
Possessing all the advantages of the pipe polymers, NPVC has a number of extra benefits:
•no weld is required when assembling;
•heat conductivity of NPVC is up to 1,5 times lower than that of other polymers, allowing longer preservation of the temperature of transported matter (thermostatic effect);
•NPVC is lowly flammable, increasing the fire safety of its usage: combustion temperature is 500°C (932,00°F);
•bell-mouthed NPVC pipes can be easily connected, hence construction and maintenance are simple and inexpensive.
The production activity covers manufacture of polymeric products which comply with international standards. They are:

1. Pressure NPVC pipes and fittings for drinking water supply:
Pipes (range of nominal pressure: 6 to 16 atm):
• smooth pipes
outer diameter 20 to 90 mm
reserve strength ratio C = 2,5 (PVC-100)
• bell-mouthed pipes for connection using ring rubber gasket.
outer diameter 110 to 315 mm
reserve strength ratio C=2.0 (PVC-125).
Pipes are manufactured into straight sections 4,0 to 6,5 m long.
Fittings:
• bends
angles available: 45°, 60°, 90°
• couplings
2. NPVC pipes for non-pressure sewer systems.
3. NPVC pipes for electrical wiring protection. These smooth pipes are used for protecting open and hidden electrical wiring against mechanical damage.
4. PE pipes for transportation of drinking water and other fluids or gases, which polyethylene is chemically resistant to.
Outer diameter: 25 mm to 63 mm
5. PE pipes for flammable gases transportation, which are used in construction and repair of gas supply systems, both industrial and household.
Outer diameter: 20 mm to 110 mm
6. Adhesive PVC tape for electrical insulation and other needs. Temperature range of use: -50°C to +50°C.
7. PE film and film products – bags, covers, bathroom curtains etc.
8. Table oilcloth with PVC coating.
9. PVC film with a printed pattern.
10. Industrial and consumer products, manufactured via injection molding.
