Construction of a pipeline out of bell-mouthed NPVC pipes with circle rubber gaskets includes the following operations:
NPVC pipes are easily and quickly connected via advancing. When connecting bell-mouthed pipes the next procedures are recommended:
- if necessary, remove mud, oil, water and dust from the end of the smooth pipe and the the pipes’ smooth ends and bell-mouths;
- mark a point on a smooth pipe to define the depth of pushing it into the bell-mouthed pipe;
- lubricate the end of smooth pipe and the circle gasket in the bell-mouth (use liquid soap or suds)(do not use oil or solid oil, for rubber gaskets have low oil resistance);
- • push the end of the smooth pipe into the bell-mouth of the other pipe until the mark is level with the end of the bell-mouth. You may need tighteners when assembling bell-mouth joints of NPVC pipes 110 mm to 315 mm across.
Pipes are connected so that the bell-mouths faced the flow of transported matter.
